Bio
Kevin Brocksieck is an accomplished singer/ songwriter, studio musician and guitar and keyboard player. His music is a mix of progressive rock, folk, pop and alternative with a soulful edge. Some of his major influences include +Live+, Todd Rundgren, Gin Blossoms, Beck, The Dandy Warhols and Oasis.
Kevin was born in Illinois and raised in Chicago and Detroit (rock city!) In 1986 he moved to Wichita, Kansas were he attended high school and college. In 1990, he began studies at Friends University where he studied music, history and marketing. He also has eight years of classical voice training. He currently lives with his family in Colorado Springs.
Over the last 15 years, he has recorded and/or performed with Rich Mullins, Mitch McVicker, Ryan Long, John Leavitt, Michael Aukofer and Kenaniah . He has worked in San Diego, San Francisco, L.A., New York City and Nashville.
In 2003, Kevin released Almighty Fear, his first solo recording which is available here.
